Workers Compensation-The Working Man's Welfare

The public's perception of workers compensation:

You get injured on the job via some fault; equipment fails, your employer had something go wrong, or some freak accident happens. Work comp then pays for your doctors visit and medications, lost time, mileage, vocational rehabilitation etc. If you cannot perform that job any longer, you find another job doing something that doesn’t require a bad back or missing fingers, etc and then we are required to pay the wage loss. You continue to work, your (former) employer’s work comp insurance premiums go up because of your injury and subsequent inflated settlement, and life goes on.

The insurance adjusters, my take, on workers compensation:

You were at work and get injured because you’re a fucking lazy idiot and go to the ER for a smashed pinky finger or a bump on your leg. The ER Doc gives you an Rx for 40 vicodin and some ibuprofen and keeps you off work for 3 weeks. They may even prescribe zoloft because the bump on your leg has caused you to become depressed. The claimant then decides he is entitled to everything under the sun and gets a lawyer and sues his employer. The claimant then hopes for a huge settlement and that he will never have to work again. The claimant relaxes and goes on vacation and does other fun stuff with his wife and kids while receiving a fat work-comp check (and free medications). He OBVIOUSLY cannot work any longer because of the MENTAL ANGUISH of having a smashed up pinky finger. He then blows his entire Medicare set aside on a trip around the world. He finally comes to the realization that a 50k settlement doesn't get you very far in the long term and he starts to panic. He then commits suicide. His wife hires an attorney who decides to vacate the stipulation for settlement and claims ongoing dependency benefits. The insurance company is then forced to settle again for another 50-100k and the employer's premiums continue to sky rocket.

Meanwhile the sheeple continue to scratch their heads as to why insurance premiums are so high.

Yes, it is really like that.

It all comes down to how well you can play up your “injury” and how good of a scumbag leech attorney you can hire, and in liberal Minnesota there are plenty to go around.

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Radical Islam

On Thursday, June 12th, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of radical Islam, 5-4.

They ruled that the rights endowed in the Constitution are also inherient in the Islamic militants and can be extended to them in a time of war.

These rights are INHERIENT in the citizens of this country, the United States of America. Hense, the constitution of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. It does not mean that we have to pass these rights on to enemey combats of a foreign country, fighthing in a WAR. What do you think is going to happen to these miltiants once they are extradited back to their home lands, i.e Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afganistan? They will be immediately shot, be headed or actually tortured. They are much better off in Guantanamo Bay then a Islamic Gulag.

Congress cannot "suspend" habeas corpus by denying it to people who have no right to it in the first place. The right against suspension of habeas corpus is found in the Constitution (art. I, 9). Constitutional rights belong only to Americans — that is, according to the Supreme Court, U.S. citizens and those aliens who, by lawfully weaving themselves into the fabric of our society, have become part of our national community (which is to say, lawful permanent resident aliens). To the contrary, aliens with no immigration status who are captured and held outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, and whose only connection to our country is to wage a barbaric war against it, do not have any rights, much less "basic rights," under our Constitution.

When eight Nazi saboteurs were rounded up after being dropped off on Long Island by a German submarine in 1942, after all, they were not treated like domestic criminal defendants. They were tried by a military commission; six were promptly shot.

Furthermore, The Constitution mandates three co-equal branches of government. It does not mandate that the Supreme Court is the Supreme branch. That right was claimed by John Marshal in Marbury v. Madison.The Constitution clearly makes the President the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, giving Congress the power of the purse, which can serve as a check on the Executive’s power to wage war. The Supreme Court has no dog in that particular hunt.The President should, as Jackson so famously did, ignore the decision as one with no authority over the conduct of war. If we had a President whose guts matched his rhetoric and swagger, this is what would happen.

It's been awhile.....

So it's been awhile since I posted on this blog. Since my last entry a lot has been going on in my life. I recently got back from a trip to South Korea. I was there for 15 days and spent 18 hours in a plane to get there. That amount of time in transit to another country seems unreal to most, but it actually flew by quite quickly. I had 2 full seats to my self and managed to sleep and read Barak Husseins', The Audacity of Hope( There is not enough time to cover what I thought of this book in this entry).

While there I spent the majority of my time in Seoul visiting some good friends from college. While there I saw so much and did so much it, it has all become somewhat of a blur now. From the time I got off the plane it was non-stop. I saw palaces, ate Kimchi(a Korean dish made of fermented cabbage and spices), went to the DMZ, ate loads of weird food, took in the crowed markets of Seoul, drank Sojo and other random assortments of liquor, met some pretty cool Koreans, took pictures with random Koreans, inhaled enough industrial chemicals in the air to kill a large horse, smoked too many cigs, walked so much I thought my feet would fracture at times, enjoyed a pleasant Seoul cab ride,went to a Korean baseball game, camped out on a beach, went for a bike ride around the Han, and hung out with all my best friends from college. I also managed to make it to the port city of Pusan, which lays on the South East coast of Korea. It is the only area that was not taken by Communist forces in the Korean war. While in Pusan we went to the Bemosa, walked around the markets, ate some good food, went to the beach, and drank too much Sojo, wicked hangover.

My trip to South Korea was as beautiful as it was eye-opening. South Korea as a country is a miracle. To think that most of Korea was completely wiped off the map 60 years ago by wars and famine, and now has become a bustling city of 25 million people (10 million in city central, 15 million in the surrounding suburbs) is astounding. South Korea lays on the peninsula in the Pacific between Japan and China and boarders its hostile brother to the North, the DPRK, The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, the last Stalinist regime. This geographical location has invited centuries of imperialism, subjugation, and conquest by Russia, China, Japan, and the 20th century Communist movement. It's even a miracle that South Korea has survived and maintained an intact sense of national identity. It's often referred to as the "miracle on the Han River". From a third world country with people starving and living huts to a booming economic super power with the highest income growth in history, South Korea has defied all odds and is the pinnacle of what freedom and capitalism can achieve. Koreans are a very nationalistic people and this is reflected in their language, social and political structure.

This trip to SK was one of the best trips I've ever made. The Koreans are some of the most welcoming and friendliest peoples I've ever met. Where else in the world can you walk in crowded subway, drop some won(Korean currency) and a Korean will run after you to give it back? Although the city of Seoul may be very polluted and densely populated it still presents a certain kind of rouged beauty. This unique beauty that SK represents is a combination of a modern drive to succeed with a reflection on what the past, both positive and negative has given them. While walking in the streets you will see men in suits rushing to the office. You will see military, both Domestic and American casually walking around. You will see men and women wearing face masks to protect themselves from the harsh pollution. All the while this all takes place with a background of blue skies and high mountains.

Getting to the point of my rant, I had a wonderful time in Korea and it made me respect a whole new culture and people that I would have otherwise never visited or come across. It also made me realize that the world DOES NOT hate America like the media elites like to tell us so. It is the LEFT that hates America.

MSM creates Messianic figure, names him Barack Hussein Obama

I know everybody is talking about Obama and it might be a little cliché for me to blog about him, but I just had to share with you my insights on the media creation of Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama has had a quite a run lately. He has completely swept Clinton since Super Tuesday and the media has now proclaimed him the front runner for the Democratic nomination.
Front runner? I think that’s a little premature. Hillary’s new campaign manager needs to remind her that she will not be running against George W. Bush. I think she needs to focus more on her Democratic opponent who has gained quite a bit of momentum since “Super Tuesday.” I think if she takes Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania; she’ll have the edge again. But she will need a new strategy to overtake the Obama explosion.

This strategy should be to expose Obama’s inexperience. This man has done absolutely nothing in the Senate. He’s also missed 80% of Senate votes in the past two months. All he does is preach on college campuses to young kids, yet he wishes to unite everyone? He is rated the most liberal Senator and somehow this is not viewed as the potential to be just as divisive as the Bush administration has been? How exactly will he work with the other side when his policies are further to the left than the majority of Americans? I also have not seen Obama reach out to people who challenge his beliefs.

The Obama “movement” has reached occult status. He has amassed a huge following that seems to be transcending party lines. He has the ability to speak and instill hope and change (whatever that means) in the hearts and mind of the average American. But what the only thing the Obama campaign has become is the next American Idle series. I blame this infatuation with the MSM’s love for brainless sound bites and fashionable new trends. I blame this on the degenerates that our influencing our children. I blame this on the people who don't care if their society is invaded by Islamists. I blame this on the cancerous disease of political correctness. Obama is just the next pop star in a long line of them.

But I digress. It’s going to be very difficult for Hillary to expose Obama’s inexperience because she is indeed trying to convince a base that clearly does not understand the true roles and responsibilities of the President. When she’s tried to expose the rhetoric, it’s backfired. She really does have her work cut out for her. Even ironically so, she is up against the same type of campaign her husband ran in 1992. He promised the world to people just as Obama is doing, and the current average American has forgotten this.

On a more serious note, I would recommend to Obama the he start to think about facing McCain in the debates and having some substance behind his lofty rhetoric. All this change he talks about, what is he waiting for? He has a seat in the very place he calls broken. He could sponsor a bill right now (or could have in the past) that can begin the implementation process for his plans for America. Obama is so against the war in Iraq, and has repeatedly accused Hillary of “flip flopping” yet he didn’t show up to vote on a critical measure regarding a resolution that declared the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, an elite part of the Iranian military, a terrorist organization. Clinton voted for it, and he criticized her for it. He said “it would give President Bush a blank check to invade Iran.” If he felt so strongly about it, why didn’t he vote against it? The campaign does consume time, and it’s quite normal for them to miss some votes, but not 80% and not ones that are so critical to their message. The continuance of rhetoric with no substance or facts will not prevail in the end. That may inspire college kids who don’t know any better, but he has a lot of proving to do not only to his own party, but too many who continue to challenge his ideas.

The pandering by the Obama camp is relying on two things; the intellectual lowest common denominator and people’s emotions. I do realize that the vast majority of the sheeple in this country vote on emotions and what they feeeeeeel in their hearts. But if you apply Obamas socialist rhetoric to anything of economic importance, it is found to be devoid of any logic whatsoever.

In the end, I just have to “hope” that there are enough Americans who will see through the rhetoric and realize that true freedom and prosperity for all is achieved by getting big government out of the way. Obama is the best of the least right now. McCain has the power to expose the rhetoric because his base does NOT vote with their hearts. He also does well with independents, which will help with the swing states. If by some chance Obama does win, it will really be something to see when all of his supporters are let down. It will be a hard lesson, but a memorable one.

Charlatan Kerry Blames Tornados on Global Warming!

According to Kerry's brilliant deductive reasoning, cooling is now caused by warming. Huh?

Kerry appeared on MSNBC to discuss the global warming tornados:

“[I] don’t want to sort of leap into the larger meaning of, you know, inappropriately, but on the other hand, the weather service has told us we are going to have more and more intense storms,” Kerry said.

I do not want to say Tornados are related to global warming, but tornados are related to global warming! Tornados are a natural occurrence in weather Mr. Kerry. I believe they occur when a violently rotating column of air is in contact with a cumulus cloud base and the surface of the earth. Furthermore, the weather service cannot accurately predict the weather 3 days from now. Why should we believe that they can predict global climate change?

Mr. Kerry goes on to say that,

“And insurance companies are beginning to look at this issue and understand this is related to the intensity of storms that is related to the warming of the earth."

Insurance companies are in the business to make money and are the pinnacle of capitalism. If they see that the sheeple are buying into the global warming scare, they will tap into the green markets and their massive amount of subsides. Once this fade passes the insurance companies will move on to other money making ventures.

Kerry continues his environmentalist newspeak.....

"And so it goes to global warming and larger issues that we’re not paying attention to. The fact is the hurricanes are more intensive, the storms are more intensive and the rainfall is more intense at certain places at certain times and the weather patterns have changed.”

Moron, wake up. There is no global warming going on! It's 30 below here in MN. There have been record snow falls in Britain and China. Weather "experts" are predicting record lows this winter. There has not been one major hurricane since Katrina and rainfall is not more intense. Rainful is never measured on a consistent basis. It has always varied from year to year. What planet are you living on?

He also says, "Rainfall has been more intense at certain places at certain times and the weather patterns have changed. This makes absolutely no sense. Of course the weather is different at certain places at certain times; this is what we call the natural changing of seasons! The Earth has gone through thousands of periods of cooling and warming, but to say that this one is somehow different is a farce and a disgusting distortion of the facts.

We as humans have become so narcissistic and inflated with emotions that we now think we can reverse global weather patterns. I believe part of this increased level of narcissism stems from our dramatic technogolical advancements in the past 40 years. It is also due the do gooder mentality that has been peddled by the left for the past 60 years. We have become so conceded with our own desires and bloated with pseudo intelligence we now believe we can harness the power of mother nature! The Earth has existed for billions of years before us. It has seen periods of extreme cold and extreme warmth. If global warming really were as bad as the Leftist doomsayers insist it is, then no policy imaginable could "solve" it. Even in accordance to the logic of the greens' own numbers, no matter how much we sacrifice there would still be more to do. That makes global warming the bottomless well of excuses for the relentless growth of big government.

The true face of fundamentalist Islam has shown its face to the world again. On clear and crisp winter day, two mentally handicapped women were used as homicide guinea pigs in a crowded Baghdad market. They were strapped with c4 and sent into an popular pet market filed with unsuspecting Iraqis. The bombs were then remote denonoted killing and maiming some 300 people. This is not the first time these Islamic vermin have used such horrific and barbaric tactics. In January 2005 insurgents used a disabled child in a suicide attack on Election Day. Police at the scene of the bombing said the child appeared to have Down syndrome.

Those in the West who refuse to confront the evil that is inherent in fundamentalist Islam need to be aware of what our enemy is capable of. Using handicapped woman as a means to kill innocent civilians makes me sick, as it should any normal human being save the socialist vermin. I almost threw up reading this story. How much more proof does the international left need in order to wake up! I wish I could puke my disgust on every socialist stuge alive. Anybody that could equate the so called, "evil" of America/Israel to this needs to have their head examined and then imprisoned.

This is unlike any other conflict we have fought in recent history. The Nazis, Soviets, Japanese were all evil and did horrible things to their own people but unlike this Islamic trash we are up against now, they at least valued their own lives. Islam values death and destruction and will use any means to achieve their goal of a geopolitical Islamic State. Political Correctness is Counter to Human Nature

Political correctness and all the other aspects of post modern liberalism are counter to human nature.

Post Modern Liberalism requires much more social pressure and constant indoctrination and enforcement to maintain their hold. We are told what is right from the moment we enter our public institutions of higher learning. Even those who seek out refuge in the private sector are bombarded by these cancerous affects of PC. However, PC is therefore not as strong as it may appear to be; it is merely being propped up by an elaborate structure of enforcement. So liberalism is a high-maintenance kind of system; it conflicts with what is normal in human nature. Egalitarianism, enforced altruism and coerced niceness do not come naturally to people.

However, one thing PC has working for it is that it appeals to the vanity of human beings; those who religiously practice liberal attitudes, towards minorities, for example, have the reward of "feeling good about themselves". Our liberal society counts racial liberalism as the highest virtue, and people who follow this mantra want to be seen as enlightened. However, what is ironic about this, is that by treating minorites with preferences and special treatments they are no less "racist" then their fore fathers.

Post-modern westerners no longer value sexual virtue, for example, or religious piety, but they value racial piety as manifested in PC and multiculturalism. So there is an incentive for people who buy into the secular religion of liberalism to maintain their egalitarian, politically correct postures. Many rewards mount to those who toe the PC line and punishments and social ostracism await those who rebel against the liberal orthodoxies where political correctness is concerned. Think: Don Imus, Michael Savage, and countless others who fell outside of the PC code.

Ironically, much of the enforcement of political correctness is not in the hands of the authorities, at least in America; it's democratically enforced, even sub consciously. Our fellow citizens will often react to punish offenders or to make an example of them. We censor ourselves, and if we don't, someone is ready and waiting to do it for us. Who needs the Soviet Union?

I think that one of the most important things we can do is to work, first, to free ourselves from the crippling effects of PC. All of us are, by virtue of living in this society, overdosed on PC, and some of us are less aware of how much of it we accept unthinkingly. It infects our whole society, even in innocuous guises like entertainment and commercials.

It's part of the air we breathe.

Here in the Twin Cities we have some of the brightest and inspiring news the country has to offer. Martin Luther's message has been hijacked by racist demagogues i.e Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jena 6, etc. Martin Luther King preached individualism and personal strength. But strangely only one man's name now appears as a national holiday. How did this happen? How could the names of the man who led the continental army against the British and founded our nation and the man who freed the slaves be eliminated from national days of memory? Who did this? These are the people that say race is not an issue but bring it up time and time again. What makes me angry is that while liberals cry about "lack transportation" our tax payer dollars are now being used to watch smokers and fine them petty amounts of cash. Where is the ACLU in all of this. Answer: they would rather use their time to determine whether or not it is constitutional to have sex in a public restroom.

Where is the liberal cry of "big brother is watching us"? Liberals are always quick to pin the Nazi label on the right, but let us not forget it was the Nazi's who went after smokers in Germany and completely outlawed the act during the short life of the Third Reich.

While I may have not agreed with the socialistic politics of Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, I am deeply saddened and troubled by her untimely death. She was a woman ahead of her time in a barbaric Muslim world. She was the first woman leader in any Muslim country, and served as Prime Minister from1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996. Bhutto also was the daughter of the politician Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who was the leader of Pakistan from 1971 until 1977. She was a woman much ahead of her time in a world dominated by a throwback 7th century sense of morality.

How long before the left wing media blames Musharraf instead of the radical Islamics who committed this atrocity? General Musharraf's government junta was trying to prevent situations like this from occurring. While many were critical of Musharrafs autocratic rule he offered the best solutions for the time being. Her killing will only bring more upheaval in the Mid-East world. A recent intelligence report has been released stating that Iran ceased its nuclear weapons program back in 2003. This news provided a new lease on life for liberals and the MSM alike. They have jumped on the news with glee and a self congratulatory pat on the back. "I told you so! Iran is not developing nuclear weapons! They only seek peaceful nuclear energy!" Nevermind that they are one of the top oil producers in the world and have no need for nuclear power. Nevermind that they wish to establish the Caliph throughout the world. Nevermind that they fund terrorist activities the world around. Nevermind that they wish to push Israel into the Mediterranean. Nevermind they follow a throwback document that views the world through a 7th century lens.

Anybody with half a brain should be worried by the combination of elements coming together in Tehran: a radical, terror-sponsoring regime, convinced that it is operating under divine guidance, armed with nuclear weapons and equipped with a range of delivery systems including long-range missiles that can target major European cities thousands of miles away. Military experts in the west know that not only Israel would be in danger. Indeed, even from the Arab media it is evident that Iran's "nuclear programme" is perceived by the moderate Arab states as a threat to the security of the entire Middle East.

However, the left is under the illusion that if Iran says it stopped its nuclear weapons program, then it must be true! Now what I find especially fascinating is that the international Bush hating left is always quick to dismiss U.S intelligence as faulty or agenda driven, but when the intelligence is in favor of their appeasement agenda then it become legitimate. Since when should U.S intelligence be the foundation for international action against Iran? Does this not go against following the doctrine of US aggression? You see by the left recognizing this report they contradict their own beliefs and go against their own doctrine of Anti U.S imperalism.

But what is really new with post modern liberals? Theiraxis of evil consists of American racism, sexism and imperialism. Evil does not exist. It is all relevant in the eye of the beholder.

Since when is it the job of the U.S. to police the world, as the politically correct lib would say?

It is our responsibility to ensure that the correct things are done. Constantly speaking about the Iranian threat, as we have done recently, is not the right thing to do… words do not stop missiles," Barak told Army Radio.

He went on to say, "There are differences in the assessments of different organizations in the world about this, and only time will tell who is right."

Barak is right, why the hell should Israel and the rest of the world base its own security on a U.S intelligence report?We all know how reliable these reports have been in the past.

These "peace summits" are nothing more then a chance for Bush to have a photo opp and to make himself look better in the public eye. They have freed hundreds of Palestinian militants only to be slapped in the face. Israeli must begin to rid itself of this Jewish guilt and begin to build a stronger Israel. After reading this article about the dangerous dependence upon SMS I have concluded that it is the society in which me live that is dangerous not the government. People now to afraid to confront basic human emotions. We have resorted to using our mobile phones to break the bad news. We, as a society have become so dependent on artificial means of communicating that we have forsaken basic human interaction. The future of our society looks bleak. Entire relationships exist on the Internet and telephone which are void of any face-to-face interaction. People would rather type a message to someone than verbally communicate their thoughts. This is much too hard. People do not speak up for fear of rejection and verbal castigation of their person. People are afraid of confrontation. The solution? Bypass it all with one SMS and your problems will be resolved. The anxiety can be lifted from your mind and you can rest assured that you will not have to deal with that crazy ex-lover any longer. However, there are consequences with these actions. We as a society have become so emotional when it comes to our politics, while at the same time rejecting individual emotions for the collective good. You and me are not individuals but part of the collective society which is pushing us further towards a Orwellian induced coma. Nobody seems to realize that by adapting to these "new and exciting" technologies we loose a part of who we are as individuals. We are robots, controlled by an artificial means of communication and a rejection of all that makes us different. I am not saying we should reject technology. I am not of the type that believes in pre-industrial Romanticism. Technology is a good thing. It makes lives easier for some and brings industry and commerce to society. It has expanded our life expectancy and made the world a better place to live. People can actually enjoy their lives, unlike during the medieval era when you were married by 12 and dead by 30. What I am saying is people need to embrace and confront their individual emotions. People need to experience rejection, sorrow, depression, anxiety, and anger. These are normal functions of the human spirit. To try and cloak them with an SMS will get us nowhere and will only breed emotional ignorance and a false sense of identity.

This weekend I had the opportunity to view a pre-screening of the movie, Lions for Lambs which is directed by Robert Redford and stars Robert Redford, Tom Cruise, and Meryl Streep. The movie is about a ambitious senator, Tom Cruise, a politically charged professor, Robert Redford, and bleeding heart liberal journalist, Meryl Streep. The story begins after two determined students at a West Coast University, Arian and Ernest follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Redford and attempt to do something important with their lives. But when the two make the bold decision to join the battle in Afghanistan, Malley is both moved and distraught. Now, as Arian and Ernest fight for survival in the field, they become the string that binds together two disparate stories on opposite sides of America. In California, an anguished Dr. Malley attempts to reach a privileged but disaffected student who is the very opposite of Arian and Ernest. Meanwhile, in Washington D.C. the charismatic Presidential hopeful, Senator Cruise who plays the shady, ambitious and over dramatic senator is about to give a bombshell story to a hostile liberal journalist. As arguments, memories and bullets fly, the three stories are woven ever more tightly together, revealing how each of these Americans has a "profoundly deep" impact on each other and the world. However this movie fails horribly its noble intentions.
The movie plays a like long version of the typical anti-war moveon.org commercials and the same old talking points heard on AM950.

I do not have a problem with a movie trying to convey a political message. I realize this movie could be considered anti-war which I really have no problem with. However what I do have a problem with is the liberal elites promulgating this movie as having some kind of deep political meaning. I have seen many anti-war movies which I enjoyed i.e Born on the forth of July, Full Metal Jacket, Hamburger Hill, Platoon, etc. All of which make US soldiers look like barbarians and the enemy, victims of the Imperialist, colonialist, Republican war machine. The Hollywood elites have every right to make as much propaganda as they want and try to force it down our throats. But this movie is simply horrible. The casting was so off it makes you feel sorry at the pathetic attempt of Redford in trying to elevate himself to a kind of deity of political correctness. Tom Cruise is equally awful. His character comes off as this hot shot Top Gun wanna be who over exaggerates his patriotic concern for the U.S. Robert Redford looks like he has overdosed on Botox and reminds me of the typical anti-war idealist who thinks his two cents actually make all the difference. Meryl Streep's character was by far the best, and this is not saying much. She plays the typical bleeding heart liberal who sick and tired of Republicans and their evil manipulative ways. However she does play her part well and it could be considered the most authentic of the movie.

The simplistic message of the movie is that Democrats seem to do what is right, while Republicans are deliberately putting soldiers in harms way for political gain. This simplistic portrayal of the political landscape is obtuse and hypocritical knowing that Democrats voted along side of the Republicans for both the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions. Instead of trying to be holier then thou and overdosing themselves on political correctness, the goal should be an united effort to confront Islamic Terror with force and an unabating effort to crush its backwards medieval view of the world. This movie is a cliched effort by the left and what hear he from them on a daily basis. I suggest if you are interested in the leftist mindset and care to digest some anti-American rhetoric, you can browse the Internet or go talk to a political science professor on any American campus and you will get the gist of what this movie is all about.

So I started this blog because I am not able to access my MySpace at work. I used MySpace to blog every once and while about random things on my mind. At first I was very frustrated that I could not view MySpace or FaceBook for that matter. How could these people ban my only way of communicating with people that otherwise would not exist!? But after a few weeks of coming down from the social networking high, I found the release of this addiction comforting and relieving. I was no longer at the mercy of who's who on FaceBook/MySpace or what some random kind I met at a party was up to. I could now go about my life in anonymity.

Anyways every morning on my ride to work I like catch a bit of the Stephanie Miller show on AM950 AirAmerica. Stephine Miller is William E. Millers daughter. WM ran with Barry Goldwater in the presidential race of 1964. Her show features a segment called RightWing World which I find amusing and childish. Basically it is collection of sound bites from your mainstream "conservative" types i.e The leprechaun(Bill O'Reilly) Laura Ingram, Dick Morris, etc. She will play a clip and with it will follow your typical condescending liberal remarks, ad homonym attacks, and ridiculous self-congratulatory machine generated clapping. It is really quite amusing how childish and moronic this woman portrays herself as. She never attacks their ideas but rather resorts to calling them "right wing tools". She embodies everything that the condescending liberal attitude stands for. The mentality of the left is"how could you possibly not agree with me?"

The problem starts when the liberal is presented with an idea and the chance to debate the issue. They do not bother debating but rather resort to the Marxist tactic of attacking you as a person. They laugh at you and call you names as if they were 2nd graders. Their ability to form a rational thought has been blurred and eaten away by the cancerous disease of Marxism. The typical leftist bashes not what you are trying to discover intellectually but rather would discredit your person in order to make you an un-person. However, the most amusing thing about Stephanie Miller is not her elite liberalism, but the fact she is running with Barry Goldwater's daughter in the 2008 presidential race. The fact that this is just a ridiculous publicity stunt is not why I find this whole thing fascinating. How could Stephannie Miller and CC Goldwater possibly think they resemble anything Goldwater? They stand in contrast to everything he fought against i.e Marxism, elitism, big government, social welfare, and the religious movement of environmentalism. Just because Goldwater was suspicious of the Christian right-wing and believed gays had the right to fight in the military DOES NOT make you the anointed decedents of Mr. Barry Goldwater. All Ms. Miller does is perpetuate the disease of liberalism. She is a mold straight out of 1984, a walking talking contradiction to herself and what the word liberal fundamentally means.

Hello everyone, Welcome to the right wing world of myself, the home of the VintageConservative.Let me take a chance to introduce myself. I am a mid 20's white mate. Yes, that is right I am a white male and proud of it. We are a dying breed and we need to begin to speak up for our cause. Of course all you PC pied pipers out there would take offense to this. However, no more offense should be taken then a black male proclaiming that he is proud of his African heritage Many of you know how I stand politically. It has been quite a rough political ride for me these last couple of years. If you were to ask me 5 years ago where I stand in regards to politics, I would have said that I was a proud liberal. That I hate all things conservative and I loathe this United States of America in which I was brought up in. I would have spouted that same talking points heard on a daily basis from mainstream left and would have unknowingly regarded Karl Marx my god. However as time progressed and I became more disilluisioned by the state of political affairs I began to explore other channels to express where I stood in the war of Ideas. I began to read books by David Horowitz, Thomas Sowell, and other libertarian/conservative writers. I began to realize that after years of leftist indoctrination I was not a contemporary liberal by any means. I had the Iron curtain of the left unveiled from my eyes and I was no longer at the mercy of Marxism. You see this is the evil that Marxism spreads. It makes you think you are something that you are not. It herds everyone into a group mentality and anybody that may disagree with you is obviously not as intelligent as yourself. "how could that person possibly believe that" mentality is what American liberalism really amounts too. It spreads a ideology of intolerance towards other points of view, a condescending attitude towards dissenters, and a nihilistic view of human nature. First off, this blog is an attempt to convey my feelings about the current state of political warfare, both domestically and internationally. I will talk about a range of issues from the socialist despot Nancy Pelosi to the fiscal socialist himself, GW. Let me also clarify that I am NOT a Republican. Recently, I began to see how very un-conservative the Republican Party really is, and I was truly surprised to see that many Republicans are quite socially liberal, limiting their conservatism to fiscal matters. And as 9/11 occurred, and really shocked me out of a complacency about our security in our own country, I was stunned to see that our President had no intention of closing the borders, cracking down on Islamic militants in our country, or deporting anyone. At the same time it seemed that I noticed our cities filling up with third-world immigrants who displayed everything from indifference to outright hostility to all things American. And yet our administration and the Republican Party, who I naively believed to be committed to preserving America and conserving our traditions, seemed oblivious to both those things. Our President and his unquestioning followers began to show their very un-conservative principles, and the fact that the President began to aggressively push amnesty for the increasingly visible illegal alien population, really convinced me that neither this administration nor the GOP had America's safety and survival at heart.I am a conservative in the classical liberalism sense. I believe in free markets, Capitalism, individual liberty, strong security for our nations boarders, and traditional American values. I guess some of you may label me a Libertarian. I would not reject this because of then unrealistic isolationist approach to Foreign Policy. I reject what the Republicans currently stand for and I believe they are almost worse then the Democrats. You see at least with the Democrats you know what your getting; big government, organic food, carbon powered lawnmowers, and a belief that everyone and everything can be explained in class terms. But with the Republicans they are more sneaky about it. They say they are for less government but then we have a fiscal socialist for a president. He has outspent LBJ, Kennedy, Truman, and Nixon combined, and this is EXCLUDING the expenses we amassed in the "war on terror", which should be labeled what it really is, A war against radical Islam and the totalitarian elements of the religion of Islam itself. But you must see that Republicans are just as PC as the left. The cancerous disease of Political correctness spreads to many hearts and minds. It can not tell the difference between the Democrat or the Republican Take for example the term, "compassionate conservatism" what else does this imply other then conservatives were not compassionate before GW decided to coin this Orwellian PC phrase? This blog will focus discuss mainly around current events and will be a platform for my rants about whatever is on my mind. Feel free to comment on what is discussed. Attack my character like the liberal you most likely are, but if we really want to have a constructive conversation attack my idea.
